Dalia Hashad

Dalia Hashad works as a Teaching Assistant at one of Cairo's private university's Faculty of Pharmacy. Dalia is fond of hikes and astrophysics. She is a member of Astrotrips - an initiative that organises hikes to remote places in Egypt from where to study the night sky. As a college student, Dalia founded "EUREKA" - a workshop series addressing the importance of critical thinking in constructing their ideas for problem-solving projects. She also volunteered at Alashanek Ya Balady teaching young girls different handicrafts which supported them financially to complete their education. Dalia also founded Nabd Foundation - an NGO which aims at providing innovative solutions for the problems facing the Egyptian society. She joined CILAS to develop a better understanding of the world and hopes to discover more about herself in the process.
