Shiva Bayat

For over a decade Shiva has been telling stories in sound. From 2018 to 2022 she built the audio unit from the ground up at Complex, a large digital media company, where she produced multiple non-fiction longform series. Her roles spanned the full production process; from reporting and writing through to sound design and production supervision.

Recently she returned to Cairo, the country of her birth, to pursue an artistic and media practice.
