مروة مرجان

Marwa Morgan has been working as a street Photographer and a freelance photojournalist since 2008. Having obtained a Bachelor's degree in Pharmacy from Cairo University, Marwa chose instead to follow her passion for the arts and culture. She worked for renowned local and regional magazines, and currently works as a public relations manager at Townhouse Gallery - a leading art gallery in Cairo. Throughout her career, Marwa won several awards including the European Commission's Photography Award in 2008 and 2013, UNICEF MENA Photographer of the Year 2011 and INDIAFRICA Photography Award 2012. Her photos were exhibited in more than 30 local and international exhibitions. Marwa's passion for journalism and art urged her to pursue a degree in the liberal arts at CILAS as a preparation for her applications for graduate degrees in Documentary and Street Photography. Marwa now works as the Art and Culture editor at The Daily News Egypt.
