Hazem Ehab graduated with a Bsc. in Political Science from the Faculty of Economics and Political Science, Cairo University, in 2015, and holds an MA in Political Philosophy from Pompeu Fabra University in Spain. I submitted my PhD thesis in Humanities at Pompeu Fabra University in December 2023, which focuses on the political ontology of Maurice Merleau-Ponty.

His research interests include phenomenology, hermeneutics, psychoanalysis, film and music studies, and political philosophy. In general He adopts an interdisciplinary research agenda which tries to work its way in-between those disciplines. Aside from academia, he is interested in different aspects of photography and filmmaking - having worked from time to time on independent small-scale film projects- and music.
